DJ CARL JR

Carl Jr. began turning his passion for all types of music into a creative mixing art form 20 years ago when he provided music for a dance at his own high school. He was asked to DJ a party, a reunion and a friend's wedding soon thereafter. Following nights out in bars and clubs in Georgetown and New York, he set his sights on playing dance music in a club. Fast forward many years, thousands of songs and having played clubs along the East Coast and private events all over, Carl is routinely sought by celebrities, socialites, audiophiles and other music lovers who are looking for a unique and personalized music format perfectly mixed to create a special vibe and make their event buzz.

Carl has opened up for Prince's band The Revolution twice to sold-out crowds at the Filmore in Silver Spring, as well as opening for Strangelove, the Depeche Mode Experience, Flock of Seagulls, The Ravyns, The Kelley Bell Band, The Reagan Years and The New Romance.  He has played music for celebrities Bruce Willis, Anna Faris, Dorothy Hamill, Barry Levinson, Olivia Newton-John, Charlie Sheen, Josh Charles, Tim Allen, John Waters, Rocker Mark Coyne, 60's music icons John Sebastian & Donovan, Simpson’s cartoonist Matt Groening, The Orioles and the Ravens teams, NFL star, Tyrell "T.O." Owens, Drs. Ben Carson and Patch Adams, Governors Erlich & O'Malley, 5 Baltimore Mayors, famed Rock-N-Roll photographer Amalie Rothschild and US Forces Commanding General, Ray Odierno. He was also auditioned as a fill-in DJ for the "Ellen Show" in Hollywood.

In addition, Carl Jr. works with many other music lovers every year to plan the perfect music format for their wonderful events. Having performed for music-loving couples, and seasoned audiophiles as well as celebrity events for high-profile clients, the theme is constant, he loves music and is very good at selecting the perfect songs, mixed flawlessly for every client. He loves what he does and it shows in the comments he gets from the crowds for whom he plays.

DJ Carl Jr. has played an incredibly versatile mix of music at clubs, pubs, fashion shows, weddings, corporate events, film festivals, schools and colleges, The Hard Rock Cafe® as well as Disney®. When he’s not blowing his clients’ minds with a passion for many genres of music delivered in an expert and unique format, he loves spending time with his wife of many years, his two boys, 2 mixed-breed dogs, and 2 cats!
